Terms of Service

Welcome to Somatic Press. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the app at app.somaticpress.com. We've kept them in plain language on purpose. If you have a question about anything here, email us at hello@higherselfhub.com.

Who we are

Somatic Press is operated by Higher Self Hub (Kacey Birch), based in Idaho, USA. When these terms say "we," "us," or "our," that's who we mean.

What Somatic Press is

Somatic Press offers guided somatic and nervous system regulation practices: audio sessions, grounding cards, breathing exercises, and a short check-in that points you to a practice. Some content is free with an account. The full library requires a paid subscription.

This is not medical care

Somatic Press is for general wellness and self-regulation. It is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. If you are working with a doctor or therapist, keep working with them.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please don't wait. In the US, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. Outside the US, contact your local emergency number.

Your account

You need an account to use the practices, including the free ones. Use a real email you control, keep your password to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else has accessed your account. You must be at least 13 to use Somatic Press, and at least 18 (or have a parent or guardian's permission) to subscribe.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans unlock the full library. Current prices are always shown on your account page before you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly, depending on your plan) until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account page with the "Manage billing" button. No phone calls, no hoops. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

We don't prorate refunds for partial billing periods. That said, if something went wrong (a duplicate charge, a billing mistake, the app didn't work for you), email us and we'll make it right.

If we ever change a price, we'll tell you by email before it affects you, and you can cancel first.

Our content

The audio, cards, text, and design in Somatic Press belong to us. Your subscription gives you personal, non-commercial access. Please don't copy, resell, redistribute, or share the content or your account. You're always welcome to tell people about the app.

Fair use of the service

Don't misuse the app: no attempting to bypass the subscription, scrape content, interfere with the service, or use it to harm others. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

Disclaimers and limits

We work hard to keep Somatic Press available and useful, but it's provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending things

You can stop using Somatic Press anytime, and you can cancel your subscription anytime as described above. We may close accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give paying subscribers reasonable notice.

Changes to these terms

If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll update the date at the top and let subscribers know by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
