Privacy Policy
Effective June 10, 2026
This policy explains what Somatic Press collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what we need to run the app and nothing we don't, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it anytime.
What we collect
Your account. Your email address and a password. The password is stored securely hashed by our authentication provider (Supabase); we never see it.
Your subscription. If you subscribe, we store your plan and subscription status, plus the Stripe customer and subscription IDs that link your account to your billing. Your card details go directly to Stripe; they never touch our servers and we can't see them.
Your check-in answers. The three check-in questions route you to a practice in the moment. We don't build a profile from them.
Feedback. If you use the feedback button, we store your message, the page you sent it from, your browser type, and your email if you choose to include it.
Usage. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the app is used (pages visited, taps, scrolling, session recordings, and heatmaps). This helps us find confusing screens and bugs. Clarity may use cookies or similar identifiers to do this. You can read more in Microsoft's privacy statement.
How we use your email
We use your email to run your account: sign-in, password resets, receipts, and important service notices. When you create an account, we also add you to our email list (run through Higher Self Hub) so we can send occasional practice tips and updates. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your account or subscription.
Who we share data with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that run the app, and only what each one needs:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and secure content storage
- Stripe — payment processing and billing management
- Vercel — hosting
- Postmark — transactional email (like password reset codes)
- FluentCRM (our own email system at higherselfhub.com) — the email list described above
- Microsoft Clarity — usage analytics
We may also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Analytics data is retained per Microsoft Clarity's standard retention windows.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime via the link in any email.
- Cancel your subscription anytime from your account page.
- Access or delete your data: email hello@higherselfhub.com and we'll handle it, usually within a few days. Deleting your account removes your data from our systems, except billing records we're legally required to keep.
If you're in a region with specific privacy rights (like the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA), those rights apply to you and the email above is how to exercise them.
Security
Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted (HTTPS), paid content is served through authenticated, short-lived links, and access to our systems is limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
Children
Somatic Press isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top and notify account holders by email.
